Paperboat Press is a partner project of El Kilombo in Durham, North Carolina, founded during the course of our first decade of community organizing and collective study. Paperboat Press was founded with the purpose of publishing works of contemporary critical analysis, particularly those by and about global anti-capitalist movements from below for autonomy and self-determination. Due to the dire lack of spaces for inquiry into the contemporary decompositional dynamics of capitalism and their devastating consequences for humanity, we see our mission, now more than ever, as aiding in the collective construction of a “ruthless criticism of everything existing.” Paperboat Press aims to circulate contributions made in that direction by anti-capitalist movements from around the world, as well as to serve as a tool for building the thought and practice of organized collective struggle.
